Friday Night Meat Raffles: Supporting Local Causes
One of our beloved traditions is our Friday night meat raffles, where patrons have the chance to win high-quality meat supplied by our local butcher, Larry's Butchery. Not only does this provide our customers with a chance to take home some delicious cuts, but it also allows us to give back to the community. The profits from ticket sales are allocated to support various local causes, including Can Assist, Wyalong Public School, and the Junior Rugby League. With each ticket sold, we're able to make a meaningful contribution to organizations that make a difference in the lives of our neighbours.

Profits from ticket sales go directly to Wyalong Public School, helping to fund essential programs, supplies, and initiatives that enhance the educational experience for students. Whether it's investing in new technology, supporting extracurricular activities, or providing resources for classroom projects.

CAN ASSIST WEST WYALONG

2nd & 4th/5th Friday of the month

Toppy pub has been supporting Can Assist since 2021. Together, we’ve raised over $3500.00 and this is continuing to grow. Over the decades, Can Assist has grown into a network of dedicated volunteers and supporters who work tirelessly to provide practical support, financial assistance, and emotional guidance to individuals and families battling cancer.

WEST WYALONG JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE

3rd Friday of the month

Youth sports play a vital role in shaping the character, discipline, and teamwork skills of our community's young people. That's why we're proud to partner with the West Wyalong Junior Rugby League Club, providing crucial support that helps these aspiring athletes reach their full potential. Profits from ticket sales go directly to supporting the West Wyalong Junior Rugby League Club, providing much-needed funds for equipment, uniforms, travel expenses, and other essential resources. This financial support ensures that every player has the opportunity to participate fully in the sport they love, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Partnering with Local Butchers: Strengthening Community Bonds
At Top Town Tavern, we believe in the importance of supporting local businesses, and that's why we source our meat from nearby butcher shops. Larry's, our trusted supplier for the Friday night meat raffles, not only provides us with top-notch meat but also shares our commitment to giving back to the community. Similarly, we procure our rissoles from Archie at Ungarie Butchery, another local establishment that prides itself on delivering quality products. By partnering with these local butchers, we not only ensure that our customers enjoy the freshest and finest meat but also contribute to the sustainability and growth of our local economy.
